FELLS POINT
The Fells Point Food Tour explores parts of Baltimore's best preserved historic district that was founded nearly 280 years ago.
Established originally for its deep water port, Fell's Point quickly became a shipbuilding and commercial center. Within the historic buildings are not only the greatest concentrations of pubs and bars in the city but also some of the city's best cuisine.
Your Food Tour May Include the following specialties:
Sausages from a 90 year old family run factory, traditional Polish pierogi, smoke crabcakes, 4th generation Greek family recipes, local beers, the city's best burger, drinks from the nation's only Grand Marnier club, and Baltimore's indigenous cookie.
LITTLE ITALY
Stroll through the area where our first immigrants came to settle into Baltimore, now the neighborhoods of Little Italy and Jonestown.
Enjoy different Italian specialties that have been passed down from generation to generation and see the spots of the Bocce Ball court, the famous Little Italy Open Air Film Festival and more.
Also visit Jonestown, once a predominately Jewish enclave, and still home to Baltimore's corn beef row, the Baltimore Jewish Museum, and numerous historic sights.
Some stops may include handmade wines, Knishes, authentic house made salami, brick oven pizzas, the area's best cannoli, the Baltimore Dog, and tiramisu from the baker claiming to have invented the dessert.
