This bar located in Fells Point on Thames Street is a few doors down from the Admiral Fell Inn. It's the oldest drinking establishment in Fell's Point dating back from before the Revolution. It's theplace where Edgar Allen Poe took his last drink - they say he fell flat on his face in the gutter as he staggered home from this place. Live music starts there at 1PM! Yes PM

Walking into the Club Charles is like taking a step back in time. The 1940’s cocktail lounge is steeped in Art Deco style with a scarlet mural and period furnishings. Lots of chrome and neon accent the décor.
Filmmarker John Waters frequents the Club Charles, along with an eclectic mix of artists, students, neighborhood regulars and out-of-towners. When celebrities are in town filming movies or performing, the Club Charles is usually one of the places they like to visit. Celebrity guests include Nicholas Cage, Iggy Pop, Nicole Kidman, Robert Downey, Jr. and Johnny Depp.
