JOSHUA'S JOURNEY

The exhibit introduces visitors to life on the Chisholm Trail through the eyes of Joshua Loper, a 16-year-old black storyteller from the Scholastic Dear America/My Name is America book, The Journal of Joshua Loper. Through hands-on activities, historic photographs and cowboy artifacts, you'll follow Joshua's adventures and learn about ranch life, life on the trail, cowboy skills and the real life of a cowboy.

JELLIES RETURN TO THE NATIONAL AQUARIUM
 
The popular Jellies exhibit returns as a permanent exhibit at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. The exhibit will display many rare and interesting speicies of the jelly family.

RINGLING BROTHERS CIRCUS OVER THE TOP SHOW
March 25th - April 5th

Ringling Brothers. and Barnum and Bailey (Registered Trademark) presents Over the Top, a whacky and whimsical circus spectacular where dogs fly, Asian Elephants stomp, hop and groove and one courageous man stands eye to eye with a pack of powerful Bengal tigers. Circus Celebrities help rev-up the motorcycle madness featuring one cycle on a high wire and seven speeding riders in a Globe of Steel. Extraordinary aerial acts fill the arena sky with a rare double-decker trapeze and Chinese acrobats propelling through the air. And with the audience participation, this circus really goes Over the Top.

Enjoy unique vendors and great food on Broadway Square in Fells Point! The day will be filled with entertainment including live music and the Valhalla Pirates. There will be many activities for children including rope making, ship building, a treasure hunt and cruises and storytelling on the pirate ship Fearless. There will even be a battle at sea late afternoon!

Day Out with Thomas is an exciting way for children and grown-ups to enter the world of Thomas & Friends. The event provides an opportunity for kids to ride on board a train led by Thomas and have their pictures taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of Thomas' Railway.

CIRCUS FAMILY: PICASSO TO LEGER

This exhibition at the Baltimore Museum of Art provides a fascinating glimpse of acrobats, clowns, and other circus performers in the early 20th century through approximately 80 works by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Fernand Léger, and Marc Chagall.
